Prototype lens
A prototype should answer one hard question.
Prototype work gets weak when it tries to become the whole game too early. ProGameX helps define the one question the build must answer: player choice, opponent pressure, pacing, platform risk, or content load.
For PvP and browser projects, the first answer is often about repeat play. If the same match state still creates tension after several runs, the prototype is doing useful work.
What ProGameX checks
- The question the prototype must answer.
- The smallest build that can answer it.
- Where players need agency.
- Which results should trigger a pivot.
Good fit: early builds, private prototypes, or teams deciding whether to continue production.
